If you haven’t noticed, the weather has already started getting cooler here in Florida; I certainly have by the shrinking sweat stains on my walking commute to work. To celebrate the closing of another miserably hot summer, I made some mint (sun) tea.My recipe called for:
- Loose green tea
- Mint leaves
- Milk
- Honey
How-to:
- Fill a sanitized jar with water
- Add loose tea and mint leaves
- Place in direct sunlight for 3+ hours (taste periodically to tell when it’s done)
- Strain tea & mint leaves
- Add milk and honey, stir
- Pour over ice
