End of Summer Sun Tea

If you haven’t noticed, the weather has already started getting cooler here in Florida; I certainly have by the shrinking sweat stains on my walking commute to work. To celebrate the closing of another miserably hot summer, I made some mint (sun) tea.My recipe called for:

  • Loose green tea
  • Mint leaves
  • Milk
  • Honey

How-to:

  • Fill a sanitized jar with water
  • Add loose tea and mint leaves
  • Place in direct sunlight for 3+ hours (taste periodically to tell when it’s done)
  • Strain tea & mint leaves
  • Add milk and honey, stir
  • Pour over ice
