What is Service Design?

Service design could easily be called "open systems design," as it strives to create a holistic experience between product & environment, people & interactions, infrastructure & employees, and communication materials of a business or brand. The purpose of service design is to design according to the needs of consumers or participants, so that the product or service is user-friendly, competitive, and relevant.
